A graduate of the University of Taipei\, Tong holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in violin performance\, under the tutelage of Professor Hsu Chien-Tai. During his time in Taiwan\, he was an active performer\, appearing with ensembles such as the Passion Music Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra and the Taipei Symphony Chamber Orchestra.
